Queer Wellness Center is a Clinical Non-Profit Serving LGBTQ+ Folks in the Upstate of SC

You may know us as 864Pride or the QWC. We’re one in the same. We exist to stand up and challenge what needs to be challenged. To see what others either don’t want to or can’t see and step up in faith and courage to pave the way to a better future. We will not back down, be intimidated, or be discouraged no matter the adversity that lies ahead in reaching for healing and harmony for the LGBTQ+ community. We stand on conviction, integrity, and love.

We serve the community with the following initiatives:

  • Creating and sustaining mental health programming that does not currently exist for LGBTQ+ folks.

  • Creating and maintaining a space where all LGBTQ+ folks feel welcome and can get basic needs met through our resource closet

  • Providing funding for LGBTQ+ folks to gain access to medical and mental health care.

  • Increasing affirmative providers through clinical training.

MISSION

To enhance access and reduce barriers to life saving and identity affirming services for the LGBTQ+ community in the upstate of South Carolina. 

VISION

To support and enhance a community in the Upstate of South Carolina where LGBTQ+ children, couples and families feel safe knowing they will have access to competent and inclusive medical and wellness services.
